Marci is a natural event designer and has honed her event and party planning skills in both her professional and personal life for over 35 years. Daughter, Ashley, also shares a love for hosting a perfect party. They have long dreamed of working together as business partners and tossed around several ideas from owning a party/wedding venue to having a balloon design business. It was not until Ashley’s husband Ken suggested developing a business plan that would not require their physical presence at events, allowing them to work on their own schedule and providing a healthy work/life balance. He is the one who first brought up that everyone wants to throw excellent parties, but they just do not know how to begin and do not have the time to surf the web for ideas or shop around for the best prices. He saw that the DIY elements of parties were not difficult and with a few simple pre-made elements and detailed assembly instructions - anyone would be able to create parties and celebrations that would create lifelong memories. So, the dream of ParDIY Crates began to take form!
